A Beautiful Wedding Day, despite the rain...

I hate that it has taken me so long to post about this wedding because it was truly a beautiful event.

The day started at ALOFT hotel in Homewood, Alabama with the bridal party getting ready. ALOFT was an amazing place to get ready as they were able to set up the conference room into a make-shift salon. There was a hair station, a make-up station a snack area and even a bar area. There was plenty of room for everyone to get "prettied up" and to sit and visit with the bride!

Mid morning the weather took a turn and it began to rain. One of my most favorite things the brides mother said was, "a wet knot is harder to come undone". I love it.

With the bride looking AMAZING and the groom all suited up in his tux, they saw each other for the first time.

Once they had a chance to take each other in, they were whisked off to the Birmingham Museum of Art for pictures being escorted in a beautiful limo from Silver Leaf Limo. I cannot say enough about Silver Leaf. They were on time (even a little early), the driver pulled the car under the parking deck and wiped it dry so the bride wouldn't mess up her dress, and carried an umbrella as he escorted her from the car to the building. The bridal party loaded up on a beautiful bus from Acton Limo. It had all the perks of a limo, but the room to hold the entire bridal party. They also were INCREDIBLE. On time, professional and very accommodating.

Josh Reeder of Josh Reeder Photography was one of the easiest and most professional photographers I have had the privilege of working with. He was organized, professional and got some amazing pictures.

After the Museum of Art pictures, we headed over to St. Luke's Episcopal Church for the ceremony. It is always a pleasure to work with Judy, the wedding coordinator there.

After the ceremony, we headed back over to the Birmingham Museum of Art where Brynne MacCann prepared the venue in the most professional way. She was on top of everything! What a pleasure to work with her!

Kay Till of A Social Affair Catering had a spread of the most delicious and beautiful food. She prepared a private dinner for the bride and groom upstairs at the BMA.

The band 4 Barrel Funk played and kept the crowd dancing until the very end!

The night could not have gone better. It was absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations Sarah and Blake!
